Who we are

This website is operated by Maharlika Floor Expert Limited, trading as Maharlika Flooring. If you have a question about your information, email info@maharlikaflooring.co.nz or call 021 673 785.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to answer your enquiry. When you use a form on this site, that is your name, phone number, email address, and optionally your suburb and the type of flooring you are asking about, plus whatever you write in the message.

We also record the page the form was sent from and, where present, the campaign tags in the web address. That tells us which parts of the site are useful. It is not used to build a profile of you.

Why we collect it

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange a measure and quote.
• To prepare and send you a written quote.
• To keep a record of the job if you go ahead.
• To understand which parts of the website generate enquiries.

We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you asked for a quote.

Where it is stored

Enquiries are stored in a Supabase database and emailed to us through Resend. Both are third-party services that may hold data outside New Zealand. We use them because they are established providers with their own security obligations, and we only send them what the enquiry itself contains.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records while they are useful for quoting, completing a job and dealing with anything that comes up afterwards, and for as long as we are required to keep business records. If you want your enquiry deleted sooner, ask us and we will do it.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not set advertising cookies. If site analytics are in use, they are configured to measure page visits and enquiry volume rather than to identify individual visitors.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email info@maharlikaflooring.co.nz and we will respond within 20 working days.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page. Continued use of the site after a change means the updated policy applies.
